Rutschman got his first big league home run and RBI’s tonight in Toronto.
About damned time. I hope this snaps him out of his funk.

In his following AB, he laced a double. He’ll be way fine.

He's also above Torkelson by over 100 points now. I did absolutely zero scouting or reading on Torkelson, but I'm real surprised he's struggled so much to begin his career. And doesn't appear to be improving yet, as he's had a 530 OPS since the day Rutschman debuted.
Witt, on the other hand, is turning it on. 738 OPS for the season. 824 since Adley debuted.
Wander Franco is only at 727 OPS this season after being over 800 last year.
It'll be interesting to track these guys.

Adley just missed a homer to dead center tonight, too. He’s a total stud.

107 OPS+, so he's now an above-average hitter

Happy Adley is doing what was expected. Very surprised Torkelson is struggling so badly. They must have found a hole in his swing that he hasn't adjusted to yet.
Witt is the real deal too.
Adley has adjusted pretty quickly, all things considered. Young players struggle, we have seen it with Adley, Julio Rodriquez, Bobby Witt etc. Torkelson will get it going.
