I wasn't able to watch last night so, because of that, sure I'm fine with him going for it.

If I had invested my night into watching the O's and since it's still a close game, I can understand a few fans being upset with his decision.

Ehh no harm no foul. It was a close play, he had a chance.
<p>I am pretty sure Shack is thinking of PBR.

I probably would've done the same thing.

With a semi-errant throw he would have been safe. It was a fairly close play as it stood.

Absolutely no problem with him going doe the cycle. Before the at-bat, and even when he was hitting, I had forgotten he needed a triple for the cycle. When he hit it I thought, "Easy double." And when it got by Nava I thought, "Go 3."

At no point did I think "Stay at 2nd Nelson, we may need your run later." Now that also may have been because after the bullpen came in to relieve Ubaldo they had shut the Sox down.

But no qualms with Nelson going for it. To quote the great Jack Elliot, "Baseball is a game, and games are supposed to be fun."

I think most of us would've -- one of those human instinct, in-the-moment type things.

Screw John Lackey.

Bitches gonna bitch.

Lackey is a complete scumbag BTW... Cheating and leaving your wife while she is going through cancer. Infinitely worse than taking PEDs in the grand scheme of life.

“I’m not even going to comment on him,” Lackey said. “I’ve got nothing to say about him. There are things I’d like to say, but I’m not going to. You guys forget pretty conveniently about stuff.”

Seriously, is Lackey talking about Cruz here?  Or is Lackey talking about his current teammate Fat Papi?

And yes, your fucking teammates are/ were cheaters too. Probably Lackey himself.

This is just another case of why Bos is. so much worse than every other team. Just hypocritical, douchebag after another over there. Go down the freaking line.

With a home run and a blown kiss to Lackey rounding third next time out.

No, no, because then one of the ESPN-ordained Keepers of the Unwritten Rules will have carte blanche to throw fastballs, bats, cleats, or anything else at some other Oriole player!

BirdsWatcher: Should the O's worry about Cruz?

http://birdswatcher....mpaign=Outbound

A .914 OPS in April, 1.135 OPS in May, .647 OPS in June, .671 OPS in July, .730 OPS in August.

Certainly has been struggling for sometime. Maybe he has another hot-streak left in him.
