Everything should be taken into consideration.
But, overall, I agree with Bilas...the biggest thing is who have you have played and who have you beat.
By that measure, it's hard to justify putting Wichita as a #1.

Agreed, but if your first answer is "meh" and your second answer is "everybody", then we have a conundrum, don't we?

Yeah of course.
I think you have to use the whole season, but the games further in the season should carry more weight and be a tiebreaker after head-to-head. And the reason you have to use the whole season is else OOC play really doesn't matter and those become more like exhibition games.

Yes it is....but, going undefeated is a very special accomplishment.By that measure, it's hard to justify putting Wichita as a #1.

Should they get it over Duke or Cuse? Probably not.
Is the fact that they went to the final 4 last year a big reason why they will get that 1 seed? Yes...and that shouldn't matter.
But still, going 33 or 34-0 is pretty awesome.
I wouldn't be upset either way.
But that's why they have to go undefeated....losing just one game kills that.
I don't think they'll be a #1 if they lose a game unless a lot of other chaos happens.

CBS Sports: SEC fines South Carolina 25K for court storm after Kentucky game
I hate the SEC rule, there isn't much schools can reasonably due. The only solution I see is putting the national guard in there and setting up barriers.

Syracuse just lost to Georgia Tech at the Carrier Dome. This is the market correction for all those close wins earlier this year.

Ha. Please take Cuse to the FF in your brackets people. He'll, please take them to the Sweet 16.
You are aware they made the Final Four last year?

Cuse should no longer be in discussion for a 1 seed. That's 2 terrible home losses.
To me, Florida and Zona are absolute locks....Kansas should be a lock unless this Embiid back injury is going to keep him out of the tourney, which doesn't seem to be the case.
That leaves Wichita St, who is a lock assuming they win their tourney.
If they don't, it's Duke or Virginia I guess...don't buy Virginia being a 1 seed but they may get it by default.
Doubt Cuse will be a #1, they might not be a #2 without a deep run in the ACC Tourney.
