Kentucky is pretty disappointing. Obviously very young, but with the talent they have; they should be better.

OTOH just won 12th SEC game, talent on the roster good enough to win it all.

UK holds on, yeah they've been disappointing, and losing to South Carolina was bad. As Anthony Davis said, they're targeted every night and I believe that's real. Now it's their fault for under performing. At UK, it's just how you do in the Tourney anyways.

Btw...Wich st has 3 top 50 wins, including at St Louis.

But, they have 22 wins outside of the top 100 RPI schools.

I think they should have to win their tourney to get a 1 seed and if they do get the 1 seed, they should be the weakest 1 seed.

Kansas should get the Midwest and WSU should get the east, with the Cuse/Duke winner getting in that bracket.

Maybe if Kansas would play Wichita their schedule would be better.

I don't know what to make more of about Syracuse right now....how badly they've fallen, or that their only win in the last 5 games has been at MD. I think that says as much about the Terps as it does about Syracuse.

They aren't scoring. They're still talented enough to make a deep run, but their stock is way down.

 

Lunardi has them down a #3 seed after last night's loss.

Yeah, as hyped as the Harrison brothers were,  they are struggling a bit for two top 10 players. Solid freshman numbers, but you thought you'd see better play.

SMU's defense is pretty incredible. They've already got 5 blocks tonight vs. a very athletic Louisville team.

Early in WInston-Salem but Wake is up 29-28 over Duke. I doubt this win would be enough to allow Bzdelik to get another year, but who knows given the Wellman-Bzdelik relationship.

Duke needed the time off...but they had 8 days off, so now they would be rusty, at least early on.

See if they can turn it on in the second half.

I don't expect Wake to win, just notable that they are winning at this point.

 

He should've been gone last year, I think the NIT might've been enough to save his job but I doubt they get there (haven't checked the Joe Lundardi's of the NIT world though).

Yeah, I don't see them letting him go this year either. There is quite the odd relationship there.

It's a shame what has happened to a once strong program since Skip Prosser's death. Gaudio was a great recruiter, but just an awful X's and O's guy. Bzdelik doesn't really seem to bring much of anything.

 

Problem is, who can they bring in to replace him. They really have to make the right hire this time.
