Agreed, any time you have one of these "czars" coming in like Bill Parcells or Phil Jackson, the writing is on the wall for changes.

Missed this. Had also forgot that La Russa was doing work for the organization. Still remember Stewart as a pitcher... he was a force with that forkball, and the mentality he took to the mound.
He's had an interesting career since as well... an Agent for awhile, then Asst GM with the Jays...
Pretty cool, good luck to him.
*Also cool that Watson is joining him.

Heard tonight that Jim Tracy will be named Manager of the D'Backs in the next few days, with Phil Nevin as the bench coach.
