Zac Gallen lost his scoreless innings streak today at 45ish, pitching in Coors. Crazy. I lucked into him on my fantasy team and he's carried my ERA and WHIP categories back from the abyss in the last month.

Lol. Didnt he have money owed to him in '24 too. He literally had nothing left anymore. Plus he seemingly rubs people the wrong way.
Madison Baumgardner DFA’d for continuing to pitch terribly.

I don't hate what Elias is doing, but you can certainly try to find a happy medium between what he's doing and signing pitching to long-term deals. To be fair, Arizona only gave him 2 years, but definitely overpaid in dollars. I'd be fine with Elias sticking to 2-3 year deals for pitching, but you likely miss out on the top guys for that. This is why you dont sign pitchers to long term deals
I guess the only real happy medium is develop a consistent pitching pipeline.

Yes Im fine with 3 yr deals. Maybe 4. Would never go 5. Should have made it clear thats what I meant. So Ari didnt lose out here too bad but if he wouldve got what Boas wanted.
