Underwhelming end to the season, start time during a work day, opponent that doesn't raise eyebrows for casuals, icky weather, don't think you could create a better combo of reasons for some apathy around this game if you tried. If they win this series, win at least one game in the Bronx and game 3 isn't sold out with the cheapest ticket on Stubhub going for 150 then I'd really worry.

Wild card tickets haven't really sold like extra special hotcakes for a long time now. You turn on most wild card games across MLB the last decade or whatever and there are probably some pockets of visibly empty seats. Not just in Tampa.

Direct original price tickets can be had for today from the O's website. Some resale out there for under face. It is what it is... the wild card round is not MUST BE AT viewing for a lot of fans.

From what I'm seeing on the good old weather.com, it looks like it will probably be fine by game time.

 

Yeah I think it may be delayed by an hour. They won't take the tarp off until the rain stops.

Guys I am flying to my winter home today and unfortunately the flights are right during the game. I do have a layover in Houston that should let me see some of the game. But I am repping my O's shirt and pulling like hell from the sidelines.

LOL yeah if I was an Astros fan who had seen like 5 World Series in the past 10 years I don't think I'd bother to pay for a Wild Card ticket even if it was 50 cents

Yeah I remember the Braves never selling out NLDS games by the end of their 90's-00's run. Fans can get numb to success.

Of course he is. He lost his MASN gig. Ravens and DeCosta wouldn't give him scoops, he flamethrows them. All his hard fluff job work for Johnny got him a MASN gig, but then he lost it so it's been target practice for him this year.

Im sure it would get annoying everyday but for someone who doesnt do sports radio I think Id enjoy hearing so much salt. Its seems clear he got his feelings hurt that MASN didnt bring him back for some gigs this year
