Ragans had one of his best starts of the year and by far his worst start of the year against the O's, both back in April.
Burnes also made two starts, both just ok.

Both guys are on heaters. 3 R in 25 IP for Ragans in September. 5 R in 30 IP for Burnes.

Royals are just 74-75 when playing teams other than the White Sox.

How can we expect to compete with the Big Market Royals.

This series is what used to be referred to in the NBA as the "dreaded mini-series."

Right, the Orioles could be done with Baseball by Wednesday night if they aren't ready to go...

Interesting. Substantial reverse splits.
Wonder if O'Hearn gets the start at DH over Rivera or do you keep him on the bench as a possible pinch hitter? Kansas City has a lot of lefties in its pen, which would seemingly limit that possibility.

I'm guessing that Adley is the DH, but who knows. I wonder if they start Mullins over Slater.

Interesting question.
We know they love the platoon advantage for their pitchers. But I can recall other games where there's been an opposing pitcher with reverse splits and they don't factor that in as much as I'd have guessed, sticking more with their straight handedness platoon approach.
I'd like to see Mullins start in CF in any case. Given the reverse splits for Ragans, O'Hearn at DH makes sense as well.

Damn it. Didnt know this but another reason why I prefered Det over KC. I hate seeing lefties against this team

If KC has a lot of lefties in their pen, given the reverse splits of Ragans, I'd start out best lineup. Save the right bats for later.
Henderson SS
Westburg 2B
Santander RF
Mountcastle 1B
O'Hearn DH
Rutschman C
Cowser LF
Urias 3B
Mullins CF
Personally I'd start McCann in place of Adley but I'd get booed out of OPACY.

Mateo started in CF in both of Ragans's regular season starts vs the O's, for what it's worth.

I think they'll start McCann over O'Hearn and possibly Slater over Mullins, but it's anybody's guess.
