Will make his professional debut tonight in the FCL. Batting second and playing SS for 5 innings.

Been saying for years that baseball is behind the curve when it comes to moving along young players. I know baseball is hard.....

Johnson & Green are still in the rookie league. None of last year's top-10 high schoolers got out of rookie league. Greene and Abrams did in 2019 but not Witt. Weathers did but Kelenic did not in 2018.

Agreed. I actually think it helps young guys to be thrust into meaningful games. Let them participate in games with play off implications. Maybe they struggle, but even then, it starts the adjustment process. If they have success, they report to spring training, with confidence.
Frankly, I thought Henderson would have been activated for this series.

BTW not making judgements at this point but Tamarr Johnson not off to a good start in the FCL
Green has good numbers in FCL but the K rate is still a concern
Lee is already in A+ and performing. Not surprising considering his profile and being a college bat
Collier is off to a good start at FCL

FCL and DSL seasons ended yesterday so either those guys are getting bumped up to A ball or their seasons are over.

15 BB to 10 K in his first action at Delmava. Nothing too impressive other than that, but its a good start.
