I think power is often the last thing to come so I'm not worried. Gunnar had 1 HR his first year in a similar # of PAs as Holliday has had. 2nd year was covid so no stats, I feel like the switch flipped at the alternate site.

 

Also curious about the D, I see he is still playing 2B a bit which surprised me some (7-3 SS-2B this year). They like position flexibility though it seems.

Not worried. He will fill out. He honestly might only be a 15 HR guy but if he sticks at SS and has great hitting skills otherwise it will more than play. Im thinking the Os just like to keep guys versatile in the minors as long as they can be versatile.

His defense is very solid. Much better than Gunnar in 2021. Smooth, great internal clock, strong arm.

Frederick's Atlantic League team signed Starlin Castro, who hasn't played in the majors since a 2021 domestic violence suspension. He played in Mexico last year. The team's release featured the manager saying the move "speaks volumes" about what the city and league can offer.

I was going to say the same thing. He's walking a ton and striking out less than his short stint in Aberdeen to end last season. .161 BABIP so I'm pretty confident he'll hit his way out of this early hole.
