Congratulations Orioles! You entered the season with one true objective, and then went out there and got it done. I could not be more proud.

 

That’s not to say there wasn’t adversity to overcome….the first no-hitter in 30 years, a wire-to-wire breakout season by your one All-Star, perhaps the best offensive season by a rookie in club history, and some nail biting moments down the stretch. But you hung in there, never made excuses, and got the job done!

I know what he means but I agree with you, it depends if Elias thinks there is an elite talent available that you can’t pass on. Otherwise it’ll be the best college hitter that’s willing to take a haircut and he’ll use the savings for another Gunnar Henderson or Coby Mayo.

Whats being talked about as far as altering the draft order? Thats stupid over 162 and especially in baseball. There is just so rarely such impact studs to tank for.
