First pitcher picked before Lee. Is there a bong video out on Lee?
The industry sees what we all saw. He's a 3rd baseman with light pop and mediocre defensive skills. That's not a top pick.

Pace of the MLB Draft much better than the NFL Draft.

Yeah, getting to this 'age' has definitely been interesting. My opinions have changed as I've got older. Harder for me to judge kids... definitely feel that with college kids, but also young professionals.

Crazy first round so far.
Thought Collier to the Cubs was a lock in this draft. (Drafted Horton with the helium)
Rocker at 3 is crazy, but one of the analysts pointed out that the Rangers don't have as many upper picks with the FA signings so they pull together a pre-draft deal with Rocker anad save a bunch of money so they can be aggressive with later picks and try to add some Talent that they lost from compensation.
Hughes to Rox makes 3 pitchers in the top 10....man you could made a lot of money betting on that in this draft and all of the kids that were considerations are still on the board.

I'm happy for Kumar Rocker too. Goes to the same organization that Leiter is in, and gets drafted where he thought he deserved. I love the arm. I wish the O's would have had a chance at him at 33 if he fell.
Yeah, this guy obviously had a lot to prove after being low balled by the Mets. I don't know much about the Frontier league, but I know he absolutely dominated in his five starts this season. He's in for a nice payday.

The draft coverage is garbage. It’s essentially zero critical analysis.

Was certainly hoping he'd be around at 33... didn't think he'd last that long, but didn't see him going 3rd either.
Either way, good for him.

Crawford to the Phillies. That's a great kid too.
Definitely crazy to see him being drafted. Obviously Holiday was a contemporary, but saw more of Carl.

Justin Crawford looks like a spitting image of his dad.

A lot of these guys are HS kids. Do you need to be trashing those?

JH looks like he is about 15. He is soon to be a very rich kid though.
