Urias may just be good. I type this while he's on a heater, but his OPS+ is now up to 110, which is close to his 114 career OPS+ (small sample still).
Additionally, his defense seems to be solid or better throughout the infield.
Depending on the way the rest of this season goes, I can easily envision him starting next year as well.
Let's get a look at Vavra with the O's after the break and continue to evaluate where Henderson and Westburg should ideally play while keeping an open mind to the possibility of Ramon sticking around as a starter with a floor as a great utility infielder.

If they traded Mancini and Santander, there will be lots of DH PAs available even accounting for a portion of games for Rutschman, too. So still could get plenty of time even if the young infielders take overUrias may just be good. Urias has recovered nicely after a rough start. Third base may be his best position. although he is good at second. He should not play a lot at SS though.

Urias seems like the type of player that the Orioles will not offer arbitration more than once.

He may not get to once (not till 2024). A lot of IF in the system that could be at least a utility guy and he's kinda shown you don't really want him at SS. If he was hitting more like last year (115 vs 94 wRC+) I might feel differently. He's been streaky though so things could definitely improve.

Congrats to Urias.
I am surprised, I would have thought our best GG chances would have been Mateo and Mullins, but it is good to see Ramon get the award
