Props to Urias of late. With the injuries to Mateo and Westburg he has really been a nice security blanket the last month or so. This is where quality depth is huge. I was one calling him washed and calling for his release early this year. Shows why having a stable mindset, being confident in what you have, and understanding the long haul as a decision maker has its value.

Earl always called it deep depth.  I’m always ready to move on from Urias, and he always makes me looks stupid.

I think people annually underestimate how difficult it is for players to be productive when playing time is sporadic.
Great having someone like Urias who can play multiple positions, and legitimately help when needed.

Urias is at least a league average bat that can play multiple infield positions well. He's quality depth.

I give the players on this team a lot of credit.  It's not just the PT, it's the consequence this has on all of these guys careers in terms of opportunity.  Easy to be Team First when you are getting yours.  Hard to believe there's not some internal frustration, but they aren't letting it impact the play on the field.  Not convinced you can stay in this mode forever, but credit to all of these guys.
