I wonder how Saul's adulteress wife is gonna muck things up for the CIA and/or Saul now.

It's at the point I can't even comment on the show because they've lost me so much I'm not sure I can look at what happens with an open mind.

This has been my favorite season so far. Very well done, IMO.

What an amazing episode that was. Man this is good. Some of it, far fetched, sure, but I'm enjoying it.

I think the story is ridiculous at this point, but it definitely was a fun episode.

So who saw that ending coming?

I thought it was going to be the exact opposite.

This show has become later seasons of 24. Still fun to see how Brody and Carrie will get out of it this time, and the acting of the lead(s) is worth the price of admission, but the story is completely off the rails and ludicrous. Brody is going to walk out of that office after killing the agency head. And for such a cautious guy, he sure was quick to leave himself alone in a room with an American soldier he had spent the entire episode not trusting. Awful, awful storytelling. But at least its still entertaining as a spectacle. Just like Walking Dead.

The ending was a nice twist, something Homeland has been good at this season and yes, the plot was a tad absurd, but you really need to suspend a bit of disbelief whenever you watch any of these shows.

That episode had me at the edge of my seat and that's really all I ask out of the TV that I watch.  If shows were 100% engrained in reality, they would be a lot more boring.

Andy Greenwald said it best. Something along the lines of "it's not the plot holes and suspending of disbelief, it's that the show is making me notice those things". I've agreed with his thoughts on this season pretty much every step of the way.

From Yahoo:

On the eve of the Showtime hit’s Season 3 finale, TVLine has learned exclusively that original castmembers Morena Baccarin (Jess) and Morgan Saylor (Dana) will not be back as series regulars in Season 4.

" And with that, a mighty cheer went up from the heroes of Springfield. "

Maybe there's hope for season 4 after all. Hopefully Damian Lewis is added to that list.

I think last night would have been a good series finale. I know many of you disagree but I'm not a Claire Danes fan at all. I abhor any scene in which she appears. I personally think she's the female William Shatner. If she gets even more scenes next year then I'm done with this one.

That was awesome. It'll be interesting to see where they go from here. I really hope Mandy Patinkin is back though.

And yes, I'm pretty sure all of this means even more Claire Danes.

Saul will definitely be back.  He'll get "reinstated" a la Jack Bauer at the start of every season of 24.

That's what the show is now.  This last season was absurd.  I'll keep watching, but it's definitely just popcorn fun now, rather than something great like it was in the first season.  Nothing wrong with that, but it just doesn't hold a candle to the better structured dramas, IMO.

Agree with lot in this article, and the comments of posters above. I did find the season entertaining... but kind of jumped the shark with plot line holes.

It was entertaining enough for me to check out next year though... and I hope with the way the season ended, it gives the series a chance to reboot, and find itself again.

I gave up. If it didn't require a Showtime subscription I would've gave it another shot.

Was decent last night, Saul and Quinn look like they'll feature a lot, which is good for us.  At least they've got the baby out of the way hopefully.
