Neat little twist at the end of this week. Excited for next weeks episode.
That was unexpected. This is shaping up to be yet another great season... Although Brody's family storyline feels like filler at this point.

So were all the scenes with Saul and Daradall (sp?) just filler to make viewers believe that plot, or is this a Saul/Carrie-only mission?

I gotta think it's Saul/Carrie only. Considering there's a leak somewhere in the agency, the less people that know the better.

I hope Brody comes back and suicide bombs his entire family, and Mike.
I get that Damian Lewis is a really solid actor, but there really is no more mileage to Brody's story, and his family is just completely useless, even if Inara is crazy hot (especially now that she's growing her hair out). The actress playing his daughter does a nice job, but it's just a pointless storyline. When are her and that kid gonna run over a homeless lady? It's like Kim Bauer with Johnny Drama and that mountain lion.

Don't ever bring up Kim Bauer in my presence. I'd never hit a lady, but...geez, that character stretched my last nerve.

Fixed. This season is a big swing and a miss for me. Hated this episode. Thought the dialogue was generally awful, didn't buy the twist ending, and thought the entire Brody family plot was stupid.

This show has jumped the shark HARD. At least Dexter's fall was gradual...
Disagree. The last two weeks have been great.

Worst two episodes of the series IMO. Nothing is true to the characters from the first two seasons. Almost nothing makes sense. Jessica goes to Carrie? Carrie agrees to help and has time to do that while trying to stay undercover, which was already BS? Back to back seasons with Dana's bad boyfriends..This show has jumped the shark HARD. At least Dexter's fall was gradual...Disagree. The last two weeks have been great.

Hopefully now that Dana has moved out she will no longer be apart of the show.

Episode three, the best episode of the season.
If that's a nudge that we need to be seeing more Brody, I couldn't disagree more. He and his family have run their gamut on this show. If he ends up being Carrie's baby-daddy, I'll probably stop watching.

Yeah, wishful thinking on my part. Maybe we will get at least a week without her though.
By the way, would any mother really let her daughter move in with a friend who they didn't know?

My first comment when seeing her taking the test is that it was Brody's. I can't remember how long the break between seasons was though. It didn't just pickup where it left off last season IIRC so maybe it won't be his.

Not at all. I don't think he should be part of the show any more but his episode was the most interesting of the season. That's more condemning of the other episodes than praise for the one. He's the best actor of the bunch and seems to be the only one who can elevate the writing. Claire Danes is good and all but they're just recycling her arc over and over. I agree, if she has a Brody baby that's irredeemable. The fact that she's pregnant at all is pretty ridiculous. You'd think the psych ward might pick up on that. Just spin the show into a Peter Quinn centered spy series. And give him his intelligence back.Episode three, the best episode of the season. If that's a nudge that we need to be seeing more Brody, I couldn't disagree more.
