Thought this was pretty good again last night, I sincerely hope we don't go the way of the Quinn and Carrie relations.

Yea this is a solid show.
I mentioned this before, but you have to suspend a bit of disbelief to really buy into shows like this -- not a ton, but at least some.
Carrie's sister annoys me. I generally hate preachy type characters on TV shows (Carmela Soprano, Abbie Donovan, etc etc).
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

First episode was really good, second and third were pretty rough.

Vomit. Don't know why I'm still watching this show. About on the level of later seasons of True Blood for me, except they never throw in gratuitous tit shots.

I still find it entertaining... but in-terms of quality it's gone from being really excellent, to a show you get to when you get to it.

Does this season have any sort of direction? What is the exact purpose? To kill that main terrorist? To find out why that Sandy guy was killed?
Seems very very shaky.
I had two of these episodes on DVR and it took me almost 10 days to get around to watching them.

With this show you have to take that there is going to be some moments that aren't realistic. I thought last night was great.

True enough. As I said, I've enjoyed this season much more than the last two.
As an aside, saw NBC's State of Affairs this weekend. Big network show... but the difference in overall quality is night and day.

Its become 24 without the time gimmick. That can be really fun when it works, and really head-smacking when it doesn't. But the show is no longer anywhere close to the greatness it achieved in Season 1, IMO.
For my money I think the last two have been right up there with season 1, and this past one was up there with Brody in the bunker.
Anyone think they've killed off both Saul and Carrie. Claire Danes is fantastic in this.

Just watched this week's episode.
From the look of the three vans, it sure seems like there were no survivors, but I can't imagine them killing off both of them.
I secretly love Lockhart..."what the fucking fuck. what the fuck!"

I'm with you on Lockhart, I really hated him last season.
Is this the only show that deals with counter-terrorism stuff? It seems such an untapped market for HBO. Other than cbs, nbc, and the like...

Yeah, this show does action, and that feeling of mayhem and confusion, very well.
