Oh, it was actually Shack's point that it had nothing to do with COVID. That's why he was complaining that Fox was talking about it instead of showing the White House commemoration.
Sorry for starting all this...
I meant to convey that instead of even mentioning Biden's commemoration of a half-million dead Americans, Fox brought up how lots of Repubs thinks his brain is too shot to be Prez... and I then wondered if Fox ever told their viewers that he's been fighting a stutter his whole life, and thus let's them think that him losing his natural speech rhythm is about cognitive weakness rather than him managing his stutter.
That's what I thought I said, but maybe I didn't. If not, mea culpa.
p.s. TV people saying it's more dead Americans that WW1, WW2 and Vietnam combined... pretty soon, we'll be able to add in Korea (plus our misc adventures in Latin America) and just call it more than "all 20th Century U.S. combat deaths"... in less than a year and a quarter...
p.p.s. One year ago, no Americans had died from it yet... so a half-million in less than a year...
p.p.p.s. When we get to 525,600, if we have 1 measly minute of silence for each person, it will take an entire year to do it.
