Im in total agreement, not a single news agency is without fault.

None of them are in the reporting news category these days.

Its twist the news and let me tell what is what.

Lol, you both-sided his complaint about both-siding while pretending to agree with him.

Biden's speech impediment has something to do with Covid?

Where did anybody say that?

Toodles.

Where he said that people mistake Biden's stuttering for cognitive impairment?  What does that have to do with COVID?

I didn't misread anything.

I asked Shack a question.

It's fine if he wants to ignore it.

I know right?

Yet, it's the coronavirus thread.

Yes you did.

Shack did not say that Bidens stutter has anything to do with Covid, so asking him what you did can only mean you misread or misinterpreted his post. Take a second and reread it.

I think he’s getting it why did he post it in the Covid thread when it isnt Covid related.

I think Russ' point is that Shack's statement about Fox News and Biden has nothing to do with the virus.

However, Fox News is actually very related to how we have handled the virus in this country, so there's that.

Web,

It's really not that big a deal.

Yeah, I was asking Shack what Biden's stuttering/cognitive decline had to do with Covid.

I'm not going to get into how the political slanted news sources affected how the virus was handled.

I apologize for any confusion and for derailing the thread with what I considered a relatively innocuous post.

Oh, it was actually Shack's point that it had nothing to do with COVID.  That's why he was complaining that Fox was talking about it instead of showing the White House commemoration.

I didn't claim it to be a big deal.

I was simply trying to clear up things since there was confusion, and I seemed to be correct with my interpretation.

I was also correct with my statement on the clear connection between Fox News and the virus.

No worries.

Sorry for starting all this...

I meant to convey that instead of even mentioning Biden's commemoration of a half-million dead Americans, Fox brought up how lots of Repubs thinks his brain is too shot to be Prez... and I then wondered if Fox ever told their viewers that he's been fighting a stutter his whole life, and thus let's them think that him losing his natural speech rhythm is about cognitive weakness rather than him managing his stutter.

That's what I thought I said, but maybe I didn't.  If not, mea culpa.

p.s.  TV people saying it's more dead Americans that WW1, WW2 and Vietnam combined... pretty soon, we'll be able to add in Korea (plus our misc adventures in Latin America) and just call it more than "all 20th Century U.S. combat deaths"... in less than a year and a quarter...

p.p.s.  One year ago, no Americans had died from it yet... so a half-million in less than a year...

p.p.p.s.  When we get to 525,600, if we have 1 measly minute of silence for each person, it will take an entire year to do it.

M&T Stadium is opening as a vaccination site on Thursday.  Looks like they're converting the club level.

Initially, between 250 and 500 vaccination appointments will be available on the first several days during the "soft launch" of the M&T Bank Stadium Mass Vaccination Site, with plans to provide up to 2,000 vaccinations per day in early March, depending on vaccine availability. The site will be able to accommodate a maximum capacity of 6,000 vaccinations per day.

Good info on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine which seems likely to be authorized soon.
