Enjoy the present gentlemen. It is pretty damn good. Who knows what the next 5 years will bring. I tried my kids not to go out looking for trouble, chances are it will come to find you.

He didn't seem overwhelmed when he struggled earlier in the year. Once he became more aggressive at the plate, good things started happening.

So despite some bold proclamations very early in the season it appears in fact that Gunnar is indeed good. On a related note, maybe we should show some patience with Cowser as well before writing him off.
Already admitted I was dead wrong. Good for you though!

And for the BA lovers, he's up to .260.

I'm not worried because of his track record, but hopefully he can find a happy medium between aggressiveness while still getting his walks as he continues to progress.
Kid is a legit star in the making, though.

Best or second best overall hitter and plays SS. Enough said.

I remember vividly watching the Nats win and saying to myself, where is our Soto ever going to come from. You have to have a guy like that.
Gunnar is that guy.
The cool thing is we’re gonna have 3-4 of those guys (Gunnar, Holliday, Mayo, Basallo).

Who would be the best overall hitter if not Gunner? Adley?
Gunner needs to be locked up ASAP as he is going to blow-up next year (in a good way); he should be putting up MVP stats for a long time.

Well deserved. It is nice that so many can be considered. Gunnar was the right choice.

Gunnar is the first Oriole to win ROY since the "Otter" Greg Olson did it in 89. I think he is going to be the first Oriole to break another streak. I think he will become the first Oriole to win the MVP since Cal did it in 1991.

Bobby Witt just got 11 years/$288.7 million which feels like a good ballpark for what it'd take for Gunnar
