The last episode was slow but you knew it was building into something.

You really saw the turn of him becoming the guy he was in BB.

And now we know he probably could have been a legit, high paid lawyer.

DVR! :)

Yeah, but then he probably would have had the game spoiled, and at that point why bother watching? ;)

IMDB is showing 13, but they don't have anything up for them yet (of course) so I don't know how accurate it is.

You are correct it is for 13.  It says it when the resigned the deal.

AMC must like what they’re seeing on Better Call Saul. The cable channel has renewed theBreaking Bad prequel for a second season, months before the series premiere.

In addition, they’ve announced that the show won’t debut until early next year. Season two is expected in early 2016. They’ve committed to 26 episodes in all.

Here are the details:

AMC UPDATES ON “BETTER CALL SAUL”

NEW YORK, NY, June 19, 2014 – AMC today provided the first of several planned updates on the “Breaking Bad” prequel “Better Call Saul,” including the release of a first-look photo from the Albuquerque, New Mexico set where the widely-anticipated drama began production on its first 10-episode season earlier this month.

This update includes:

· “Breaking Bad” creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan is directing the “Better Call Saul” series premiere, and co-showrunning along with fellow “Breaking Bad” alum Peter Gould, creator of the Saul Goodman character.

· AMC confirmed it has already ordered a second season of 13 “Better Call Saul” episodes, for an initial total of 23.

Sounds like a third season of 13 episodes too? Awesome. At which point do they slide Walter White into a Hitchcock like cameo? You know it's coming one day.

Its already regarded as one of the best shows on TV.  This thing will go as long as Gilligan wants it to.

Cranston was on Howard Stern recently and he mentioned that it has been discussed.  Sounds like it will happen at one point.

Really enjoyed the premiere.  Will be difficult for the show to top the first season, I think we get a bit more of the internal struggle of Jimmy to become or not become Saul, but he'll be full blown scheming towards the middle to end of the season.

It was a good start to the new season. Not much to say that hasn't been said. Vince Gilligan is a genius at keeping the audience wanting more.

I loved how not only did he pull of that scam (I completely forgot that the character was also briefly in an episode of Breaking Bad), and not only brought Kim in on it, but that she slipped right in to character.

Gilligan is the best at using montages to establish or capture a tone and pace of an episode. Loved the opening to last night and another enjoyable episode overall. Love this show.
