Good idea.

The background for all stickies now have a faint yellow background (kinda like a...sticky...note). Let me know if that's too bright or needs toned down a little. And yes, I realize that I just asked a bunch of baseball guys for color advice.

I'm actually not seeing the changes on my end.

It's very subtle, and you might have to SHIFT+refresh a couple times to get it to refresh in your browser.

Okay, the SHIFT+refresh did it. That's perfect, nothing too blatant, but just enough for me to differentiate those as stickies. Thanks as always for being so responsive.

Since the Olympics are coming up, could we have a temporary forum for them in the "Other" section above NBA, NHL, etc.? At least from July-August.

And then threads with all of the various sporting events.

Agreed. Though, I'm pretty sure all the conversation would be about Holley Mangold.

Only if the entire thread was snippets from her Made episode.

I see where there's a way to "mark topics as read".
But is there a way to selectively mark individual threads as read?

I realize that Sammy found no obvious way to do this... but just an FYI...

I finally gave up and just marked everything as read... that way, I won't have "false reds" because of some unread thing on p3... anyway, when I did that, the confirmation message did *not* say "all forums marked as read"... instead, it said "selected forums marked as read"... which kinda implies that there is some way to select them, does it not? Or maybe that confirmation msg is just a tease, Louise...

Is there an "ignore" function?

Yes. In your user cp you can designate someone as friend or foe. If foe, they are blocked.

I like the sub-forums, obviously don't want it to get to cluttered. But let me suggest for the NHL one having a sub-forum for the Caps.

Also, I would like to suggest under the colleges having two folders: Terps (sub-forums for men's basketball and football) and NCAA (all sports covered).

Probably won't make either of those moves. The NHL section is basically a Caps board... don't want a sub-forum for the Caps, because there would be minimal other discussion of the rest of the NHL.

I currently like how we have the Terps and rest of the NCAA talk separated out.

All the same, thanks for the feedback / suggestions Madison.

Fair enough, I noticed the college sports one started off as only football/basketball and has slowly expanded. As you alluded to above, it has become an "NCAA talk" so I think the title should reflect as such so new topics aren't being started under "Other"

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but is there any chance we can keep the Olympics thread open a little bit longer?

If people keep trying to sell stuff, which I have no problem with, might want to consider a classified section or atleast a thread for all of them in their related sport (for example, all of those trying to sell their Ravens tickets could do so in a single thread).
