He's not on that fangraphs list, but Pipeline has him 20th in this class.

Thanks.  I thought I remembered that we were connected to someone.  Obviously can be a lot of variance in these lists given the challenges, youth, etc.

 

Was just surprised this list didn't connect Orioles to a 2M+ kid.

Almeyda will break the O’s signing record, it’ll be more than $2M.

It seems weird that he left the US to live and play in the DR. Was he born there? Though thinking about it, if he can sign for $2M+ at 16, rather than having to wait until after HS and hope he can get the same bonus out of the draft, then I guess it makes sense. On top of that, if/when it's time for him to come play in the States, he should have a much easier transition off the field than other int'l players.
