I think you couldve picked any professional baseball player in any org to take those Davis ABs from '18-'20 and you couldnt have found someone to do worse. Maybe some 16 yr old playing in the DSL wouldve been worse but I wouldn't bet on anyone playing stateside to be worse.

He was overmatched in every regard.

I don't think I saw a major league hitter as bad as he was getting regular ABs. I would bet on the 16 year old having better ABs than CD during that time frame. His ABs were like watching a bad seventies disaster film on a continuous loop.

The MFNYY have started 5-0. Sure its early but they have played all 5 of their games against very good teams and swept the Astros in Houston. Don't sleep on this team.

They’re good if they’re healthy. Not expecting that to last.

Are they any more likely to get injuries compared to the O's? Or are the O's better positioned to handle injuries due to out depth?

The Yankees are older, so probably more likely, especially with Stanton's and Judge's histories.

Yes to both, I'd say.

IDK, Mullins and Hays are injured a lot recently, and the Yankees have depth.

The O's aren't injury-proof, they just have fewer guys with shaky recent track records than the Yankees.  I also deny Mullins or Hays are all that shaky, Mullins was a rock until missing about 40 games last year.  Hays played 145 games each of the past two years.

Bradish and Means are the big O's concerns physically.  But I think Cole, Rodon and Cortes are as big of concerns.

Yankees position player concerns far outweigh the O's.  Stanton has barely averaged half a season the past 5 years.  Judge got hurt pretty bad last year and now considers it chronic, so he's somewhat of a concern and obviously a key guy. Rizzo play 100 and 130 games the past two years. LeMahieu 136 and 125 and is already hurt against this year. And no way do the Yankees have the quality of depth for position players that the O's do, that's not even worth debating.

O's could easily suffer more injuries than the Yankees this year, but that's not the way I'd expect it to go given the track records and just the average ages of the teams.

What is their depth? They continue to trade it away. And they're older so I would expect injuries more often.

Hays' problem is that he seems to get hot, then gets injured and then not play too well when he returns.

I'll take a hot streak starting right now, please, even if it comes with risk of injury later on :)

Seriously.  Then replace him with one of the young outfielders when the injury hits.

Annoying how good they've been since we beat them here.  21-6 since that series.
