Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't like this movie that much.

If it’s about as good as the 1995 movie then it’s a success.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  I think it's entirely watchable, and there are some badass fatalities.  Kano was entertaining.

It was "meh". The 1995 movie had more fun. This one didn't even have a tournament. The choreography could have been better during fights. I appreciated the violence.

My 30 mbps internet apparently isn't fast enough to stream HBO Max movies in 4K so I watched it on what looked like a SD DVD.

Without Remorse was a big "meh". I like MBJ a lot. He is kind of wasted here. There is no life to the film. There are two well-filmed scenes in the film. The rest is going through the motions. Sollima's english-language films have been similar. Sicario 2. Loved, loved, loved his show Zero Zero Zero, though. It takes place in Mexico, US, Africa, and Italy.

Nobody was a delight, highly recommended action film. Nothing ground shaking, just a really solid, fun, lower budget John Wick.

I agree, I had a hard time getting through it.

Im a huge Clancy book fan and of course, his movies.

One takeaway, the female seal officer is supposed to be Admiral Greer's niece according to IMDB. James Earl Jones is a legend and love watching him in movies.

I don't think its a hot take. I didn't hate it mainly because I enjoyed some of the action set pieces but its completely non-sensible. Nolan's worst.

Yeah, some of the set pieces were great. If the fighting was really done in reverse, that is impressive. If they filmed it forward and pressed rewind to make movie magic, I mean, who can't do that?

2 hours and 30 minutes, and 2 hours of it is explaining the rules, and it still makes no sense.

It's the first movie of his I didn't like, but it's two out of three now I've been meh on. (Interstellar the other). Never seen Following, or Isomnia, but the rest of his work is great.

You need to get in a good place, maybe even a bit stoned, and rewatch Interstellar. That movie is great.

I liked Tenet.  Thought pivoting the plot around a forged art blackmail scheme was a very strange choice, but other than that I thought it was cool.  I also think Robert Pattinson was terrific in it.

Interstellar is great.
