Of note last night in the O's farm system was Trey Mancini's performance, as he hit his first Triple-A homer. He went 2-for-5 with a double, raising his Triple-A slash line to .250/.362/.425.
Given that those numbers have come over 11 games, it's an extremely small sample size. I just have to wonder what the Orioles will do if Mancini performs well at Norfolk, specifically whether he gets a promotion down the stretch or is traded. I think there might be room in the majors for him later this year, particularly if Pedro Alvarez continues to struggle.
