Pretty sure no. Im curious how often someone has been pulled while being perfect. Especially say 6+ innings in. Im sure some opener has threw a few perfect innings to start a game.

I was watching the broadcast from the 7th inning. Evidently, by definition, a perfect game requires one pitcher, so it isn’t possible once the starter is pulled. I wonder if there have been combined no-no’s that were 27 up 27 down though. The Dodgers reliever who came in for Kershaw gave up a hit to his second batter.

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Trevor Bauer has received a two-year suspension from Major League Baseball.

Whereas with settlements players have been credited days served for a suspension while on administrative leave, that is not the case with Bauer. His two-year suspension, which covers 324 games, starts today and would last for all of 2022, 2023 and into the 2024 season.

So long as it stands up to whatever legal challenge the MLBPA puts up on his behalf (he not only violated the morality clause found in every single MLB player contract, he defecated on it), he wound up screwing himself out of 70 million dollars.

Caught the game at the White Sox yesterday. Great game! Had a lot in it. Really impressed with Muncy and Freeman were clutch. Bullpen threw hard. Easy to see how primed for a WS run this team is, considered they struggled to get going for the first few innings.
