I mean, their rotation was what? Kershaw, Buehler, May, Urias, Gonsolin. They've got this kid Josiah Gray looking to make his MLB debut later this summer.
So I guess Gonsolin heads to the BP? Realistically, how many wins did they create by adding Bauer? Maybe 1, 2? The first two years of his contract the Dodgers are paying $85m for 2-4 wins, total?
To me, this was about keeping Bauer out of SD, or maybe NYM.
eta: They still have Price. So that complicates matters even further.

They have the money, so I guess they want to load up as much as possible. Maybe they are going to 6 starters to limit innings and maybe injuries
