Defense and another pinch runner.

Probably has more value to us than Gregg would for the last few weeks.

Roch tweeted Gregg was leaving the stadium with a suitcase. His suitcase would have more value to us the last few weeks.

He needs a suitcase for all the money he got paid here...Well actually, he needs a gun and a mask for that but that's another story.

BTW, that would be a good thread...Things more valuable than Kevin Gregg:

1) Suitcase

What else? :)

Gregg didn't rob the O's. They freely signed him to a deal knowing exactly what he was. Can't blame Gregg for taking their money. It isn't as if he had a really good year in 2010.

Well I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player.

I wonder why this didn't happen before. Maybe they didn't wanna insult another RP by bringing him in to mop up...

As frugal as the Orioles are and being in the same division as Tampa, it is amazing that it took them until now to figure out that you don't need to spend money to put together a solid bullpen. The money they wasted that could have been put into the draft (before the new CBA) is mind boggling.

It's about time they let him go. Buck used him to throw mop up innings all year. You've got to believe those innings could've been better spent finding out what they had with one of the younger guys. What a waste having him on the team all year. I'm glad they finally let him go, but what was stopping DD from making this move months ago?

Biggest fan is Andy MacPhail. What a moronic signing that always was.

Hold that thought. DD signed Wada, who might (will probably) end up in the pen and he took on Lindstrom who was not cheap.

Let's see what they do with JJ in the offseason before we call it a learned lesson.

Well I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player.

asked Buck if calling up Hoes impacts him playing in AFL. He smiled and said, "If we're playing into late October it might."

The best I can say for Gregg is that he did attempt to put his arm around Bundy this Spring and give advice.

Best thing I can say is he pretty much kept his mouth shut this season concerning his diminished role on the team.

Classic example of never spending BIG on the 'pen.

On the Lindstrom point totally worth it for Hammel's contributions if nothing else. Wada got injured after he signed?, I'm not sure what was wrong with that. Players get injured and get paid. Am I missing something?

Just that DD might not be the save money on the bullpen guy that some of us are hoping for.

I am nervous that the O's are going to reward JJ with a multi-year (3-4) deal.

Well I hear Linda Ronstadt is looking for a guitar player.
