Rofl at thinking they care about a 24 yr old that was 17th in the Os system according to 1 source affecting their Mil ranking. Not that they would care if he is a top 100 prospect which he isnt. All crazy narrative. Im gonna assume Miami has called up similar type prospects to cover some of the roster spots they
traded away at the deadline. So your narrative holds zero weight.

It's been reported that they sent Norby to AAA to work on playing 3B.  Also, and this is just smart, there's no sense in breaking prospect status with the guys that you acquired (so the 3B thing could just be a narrative) so that you can get an overall bump in your MiL system ranking.  It's pretty simple.  And obvious.

Someone should stop.

A bump in their minor league system? Come now. First off, I doubt that’s the reason plus how much of a bump can Connor Norby give a system? Seems pretty silly. The 3B conversion sounds plausible but he’s played his first two games at 2B for Jacksonville. This seems like a longshot but maybe they want to maintain his rookie eligibility for next year but I have to dismiss that if only for the reason because that’s the way you think. I’d say they really are converting him to 3B but just want him to get more side work in first. Who really knows? Well, as usual, you do.

So they couldve retained Max Meyer, Xavier Edwards, and others prospect status. Nope, it was Conner Norby he of 200+ AAA ABs who they needed to keep down to raise that system ranking. Talk about unhinged thinking

He doesnt even make any of it make sense. This nonsense about system rankings is hilarious. Of course he was wrong about how the Os were going to handle Holliday and Mayo as well. I know thats not surprising but chalk another miss up for the duder

Soto after 3 appearances:

1.1 IP, 9 hits, 3 walks, 8 earned runs, 1 strikeout

Yikes.

Honestly this might be a case of just cutting bait if he can't hack it. No time to worry about it.

Take him for a walk and introduce him to the Ubaldo Jimenez pothole.

Eflin and Dominguez were solid ads. Everything else was re-arranging chairs on the Titanic or waving in water after the hull was breached.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

He’s had some good hits but he’s gotta start driving the ball in the air. He could be a DP machine and that will get old fast.

I won't complain as long as he keeps hitting bullets all over the field. The lift will come. Keep hitting the ball hard and good things will come.

Eloy is our OMVP

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

That’s basically what the trade deadline is about.

Yes except we needed 2 good starters. One between Burnes and GRod and one between Grod and Kremer. We got one between GRod and Kremer and a #5ish. And unfortunately now we are in even worse shape with Grayson out.

We have to find a way to tread water for the next month or so. I actually like Big Al a little more than most. Hopefully the offense can stay hot and carry the team in the month of August.

Seems like he's been at his best when he's been thrown into the fire on short notice. Hyde needs to find some way to keep convincing him someone else is going to be starting on his day, then give him the news over breakfast to prepare himself.

Maybe all this adversity will set them up better in the playoffs. Last year's team felt like it didn't know what to do when they got punched in the mouth.

Seen enough. The trade for quantity over quality is bad management.
