Shout out to Max Wagner and Jud Fabian. Both had big months of May. Fabian in particular might be a real prospect

Wagner and Fabian really stepped it up. Beavers been a little disappointing. Lots of talent in Aberdeen, though.

Westburg with a 2b and HR already today. Im prob the last person to call for him just based on no position to play and not wanting too many rookies in a lineup but I got to say give him time. Even if its at DH. OHearn/Vavra arent doing it and Im willing to see if the bat has more than Urias too. Thats assuming against RHP Gunnar, Mateo, and Frazier are the starters around the diamond. Hell, he could even cut into Mountcastle's ABs vs RHP at this point. Mountcastle is actually the worst of the group vs righties except for maybe Mateo but Mateo brings a glove at a valuable defensive position.

O'Hearn has an .845 OPS and has had some huge hits for us.  Can't ask for much more from him.  I'd like to see him eat into Mountcastle's time against RHP.

 

But yeah...agree that they need to make room for Westburg somehow at this point.

Someone should. Mountcastle's OPS vs righties is .560. .560!!! Mateo for reference is .610. Ridiculous.

Heard he was back in concussion protocol. Probably playing it safe if he had related symptoms since he got one in ST.

Damm just not good. Kinda worried about these concussions and really his durability in general. Puts a bit of a damper on his prospects for me. You have to be available.

He was hurt the 16th, 2 weeks was the 19th, so I think you’re misremembering. Elias said he was “days not weeks” on the 26th, 1 week ago.
