Bob, talk about Bowie's struggles as a team. 9-23 now. By far the worst record in the organization. Pitching?? Hitting?? Defense??

We know there are some legit prospects there doing well. Povich, Kjerstad, Mayo, McDermott, Prieto. What gives.

Outside of the three hitters they have nothing on offense. Everyone is either in AAA or not ready to move up from A+ yet.

Donta Williams, Jacob Teter, Billy Cook, Servideo, Romero, etc are overmatched. Rhodes missed time with injury and hasn’t been great. Watson has a .750 OPS his third time through the league.

TT Bowens will be back this week coming up but Prieto and Kjerstad aren’t gonna be there much longer. Mayo not long after that. Just a temporary gap thanks to so many guys racing up the system last year. Pitching has been good.

Elias has talked about teaching his minor league position players positional versatility. We’ve seen that plenty throughout, but haven’t looked at Bowie specifically this year to see how much that’s happening there. But I do wonder if that effects their team defense overall. In the minors, I’d be okay with that btw. Development way more important than winning in the minors, although learning to win is a form of development so I don’t think it’s nothing either. So not judging this approach either way, just curious if it is a contributing factor to what we’re seeing here.

Btw Tate has been god awful in these rehab appearances. Not sure what to do there. No confidence in bringing him up.



In good news Jackson Holliday is an absolute stud. He might make AAA this year. 3-3 with a HR, triple, and 2b in 5 innings. Just lol. For a real fun time go look up Dru Jones, Temmarr Johnson, and Elijah Greene so far

I hope he really buys into being a RP. Think he can be valuable in that role. Hope the velo ticks back up if he knows he can just let it rip for an inning or two

Most likely yes but he's kind of the right handed version of DL Hall, if he can command the ball enough he could be a very good ML SP.

End of season for sure. Mid season a possibility as well. Might end up being a consensus by end of season.

Hall blew up last night in 1.2 innings. Gave up 6. Hes not a legit prospect anymore. That doesnt mean the arm may not still be intriguing or that he cant come up to the majors and be a solid RP. Maybe even a very good RP. Hes not doomed to be a complete bust but his time as a legit prospect is over. No team is gonna value him as one of the top pieces in a noteable deal.
