Yet you make all these trade prosposals that take on all this money and have the payroll in god knows what range. Live in the reality of the situation. ........................... Completely laughable but its irrelevant. No more dude trades that are unrealistic. It cluters massively.
The reason you dislike trade proposals is because they prove your position wrong. You want to hold onto "whatever they did is the only and best thing they could have done". I put the McCann trade thoughts out in October. A version (the don't spend any additional money version) of that actually happened in December. There was clearly capacity to do what I described in the trade (I probably gave up too much from an Oriole perspective).
You don't like the Castillo/Soto option because it highlights there are really good things they could do - at a time the act like they are going to do really good things - and their utter lack of involvement proves they are phony and you don't want to acknowledge that.
For people that often say how they TLDR some of those trade thoughts, it's awesome that you can have a position on the content lacking the facts of the content. I generally put a payroll number on each 'plan'. I only describe the things I think are contextually available for a team market/resources like the Orioles. Well run Orioles can afford 140-190M easily. The things I describe are available to the orioles and never remotely approaches those numbers.
