Going to Sarasota in a few weeks!!

Enjoy, it is a great complex and the beaches in the area are terrific.

Yup.  Have gone every year since 2016 or so.  Really amped.

Os fans should be pumped. So much opportunity. Maybe it doesnt happen this year but this squad is on the come up hard. These young guys are studs. That was essentially my problem with grumpy people this offseason. I get not spending in FA sucked but it doesnt matter in a lot of ways. This team is all about the young core.

Only sort of. The team should be and should always be about being a legit contender. Does you zero good if your young core is solid but isn't enough to get you there.

Its all about the young internal core. Its quite possibly good enough without much outside help. Or that parts young talented group nets us a high quality player(s) in a trade.

I haven't been since 2019.  We were going this year, but grandson #3 is due soon, so it will have to be next year.

Only four spring games on MASN this year, and one of them they’re borrowing the Red Sox feed with the announcers in the Warehouse. Way to build up that fan momentum for the season, John.

Don't want to disrupt any of the other riveting programs MASN has to offer.

March is also National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. It would be disrespectful to proctologists to have people skipping their colonoscopy to watch baseball games.

MASN and the coverage of the Orioles is minor league.

The Angelos family doesn't seem to want to invest in anything that might create interest in the team.

More in depth baseball futures out on DraftKings.

Os over/under: 76.5 at -120

Make the playoffs is +370

+850 to finish 2nd in the divsion

+425 to finish 3rd in the division

All potential plays for me. Already played the over 76.5

That maybe sheds some light on the motivation for the Givens signing.

The Givens addition makes more sense now. Can always use pitching but Givens and Tate felt very similar and we already had depth. Feels like this is something where Tate might not be back til June even if no setbacks. These guys if healthy are throwing all winter. Takes awhile to ramp up. Same with Bautista too tbh. He might not make OD if he hasnt thrown all winter.

They were generally quite healthy last year. That probably isn’t going to happen two years in a row in this sport.
