I think that leaves him in good shape for OD.  He probably needs about 7-10 innings to be ready to go

I am really rooting for this kid.  Hopefully he comes out of the gate strong at Bowie and makes his way to AAA by August.  That puts him in play for next year for the Orioles.

Bautista said he felt good. Had thrown 4-6 pens and 2 live BPs before tdy. Will pitch agn Fri at Minny.

Some anxiety about the bullpen will melt away if Bautista is ready to go on Opening Day. This was certainly a positive step.
