Kjerstad wasn’t among the top prospects optioned to MiL camp the other day. I imagine part of that is thanks to Santander being in the WBC. But with the spring he’s had so far, I’m sure the Os don’t mind getting a longer look at him up close, especially facing more big league pitchers with roster cutdowns.

After missing 2020 and 2021, I don't think being aggressive with him is such a terrible thing.

I didn’t realize he is wearing 19.  Not expecting it, but would be nice to see him emulate Mr. McNally.

After missing 2020 and 2021, I don't think being aggressive with him is such a terrible thing.

He was expected to be a fast riser back when he was picked anyway, so it’s just a question of how long it would to get his strength and timing back. Even though he struggled at Aberdeen last year, I see no reason to send him back there. Start him at Bowie and if he’s hitting then don’t wait to get him to Norfolk.

Interesting to see what they do with GRod. Hasnt had a great spring. Hasnt been terrible either. Has made it easier for the Os to start him in AAA to get the extra service time

He earned it from a 2.20 ERA, WHIP under 1 and 12.5 K/9 in AAA across 14 starts

Grayson has a 5.56 ERA in ST and Voth is at 6.75 while Tyler Wells is at 8.44 and Bradish is chilling with an 8.74 figure so I'm really struggling to worry about this when multiple people who spent time starting last year have been worse in similar samples
