I know there are a few people here who I like who advocate for having the umps continue to call strikes but IM just throwing out a warning. Im going off when I see that post again. Its inexcusable to have that take when you can get it right. Or at least consistent for everyone. The difference in counts let alone strike 3s are way too important

There was no rise or break in that low strike call to Mount, and it came from a low release point. I mean that is seriously an unimaginably terrible call in that situation. It wasn’t even close.

BTW Halls stuff isnt all that. Its a good fastball/change mix but no command and the breaking stuff looks pretty meh. But this narrative that its elite amazing stuff is just wrong
