Yeah, we must be. They’re there. Two missed opportunities. I guess in your mind, if it isn’t ruled an error, there’s no miscue?
No I already said Gunnar should have turned two on that one. Was there more than that?

Now I am playing online poker so not totally focused on the game. But what are all these defensive miscues you are talking about? They have no errors and did turn a double play. Sure Gunnar should have turned another one but seems like ya'll are watching some game I am not.
2 double play opps leading to scored runs is an error IMO.

Again though, balances out. Baumann did get hit pretty hard.

Gausman will pitch into the 7th in a double header. Offense wetting the bed to a big degree. Sucks.
Pretty much the same offense we have seen for 2 weeks unfortunately.

If they score here that’s the ballgame. Damn.
Not giving up per se but if they do score this inning I am sacrificing Krehbiel and saving the rest of the bullpen for game 2.

Gausman just 83 pitches through 5.2.
I wonder where Oriole hitters stand statistically as far as making pitchers work? It sure seems like they swing at the first pitch an awful lot and I'm sure they swing and miss at balls out of the strikezone more than most.

The number of 2-0, 3-1 counts today where guys then swung and popped up or weakly grounded out, just painful. They have been very bad at not taking hard to hit strikes. Which is annoying given how much we know the hitting coaches are focusing on swing decisions. Maybe they should focus more on walk decisions.

Agree Ricker. Just don't think players today, by and large, understand the long game of working a pitcher.
