I don’t think we have seen him barrel one up tonight yet, but I could be wrong there.

But the thing that jumps out is the quality of AB he has.

AB 1 - falls behind 0-2, draws a walk on a 7 pitch AB
AB 2 - a 2 pitch dud but he did leg out a FC and got an RBI out of it, could’ve been a double play, do like that he hunted for a pitch and went for it there
AB3 - falls behind 1-2, works the count full, fights off an inside breaking pitch for his first career base hit - another 7 pitch AB

A cool 19 pitches in his first 3 trips to the plate.

Mississippi State alum. Don't mess up what he already knows.

Nothing flashy about Jordan. Never will be really. Hes just a guy who came up and has looked the part of a solid ML player the whole time.

You make comments like this often. You made them about Gunnar too. Why do you assume that what you get in a guy's first 2 months of MLB ball is what you'll get for his career?

Big Westburg guy here. Guy plays MEAN

Its not a slight in any way. If you wanna think there is MVP caliber potential there with Westburg then by all means feel that way

Hes a baseball rat. Love it.

If you want a gotcha moment with me and Westburg it would be me questioning his ability to play 2b defensively. Hes been good there.

I just don't think anyone has any idea. Trout looked ordinary in his first two months. Wander Franco struggled. Vlad Jr. struggled. It's common.

Of course people have ideas. Bottom line is I might be wrong with Gunnar when I said I see a solid regular and not a superstar. I hope hes a superstar. But understand when people rank him and Trout and Vladdy as literal top prospects in the game its because there is superstar potential. Westburg was like top 30 at best. Thats not to say a guy who was never ranked high cant be an MVP or CY Young but people do have ideas. There are FV grades on guys for a reason.

Liar. There are only 20 rounds. Typical Lawyer.

You say stupid stuff and then have to explain to the group what that actually means.

For example here: "Not flashy" means "not a MVP caliber player".  Huh?

AL player of the week back to back with Cowser. Not too bad for 2 guys hitting near the bottom of the lineup most of the time.
