Very quietly he could wind up being this team's most valuable player. I'd rather have him up there in the clutch than anyone.

He won't be team MVP because of Gunnar, Adley, Burnes, or Bradish. He's right up there and certainly a part of the core of the team going forward.

Won't have Gunnar's power stats and maybe not even Rutschman's. But he consistently drives in the runs and hits when the team needs it. He's the guy I want up there when it matters.
Jordan Westburg is the Corbin Burnes of the Orioles' lineup.

Jordan Westburg has a right hand fracture, Brandon Hyde said, and there’s no timetable for his return. They hope before the end of the regular season
Ugh, I feel horrible for him.
See how things go, and I'll hope for a mid-September return.

We lose a key player late in the season whenever we're good.

2014 - Machado, Davis
2016 - ???
2023 - Felix
2024 - Westburg
I know a lot of teams deal with this stuff but it always sucks when it happens to you.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Man, a lot of people complain about the back end of our current rotation, please don’t look at the 2016 starters after Gausman and Tillman. Not sure how we won 89 games.We lose a key player late in the season whenever we're good.

Bummed on this. Westburg has been amazing this year.
Lemons, but whatever. Make some lemonade in a couple weeks with Mayo. Ramon, get busy until then (and still after).

The 2016 team made the wild card and flamed out. The idea in 2024 is to do better than that.
