Lol at thinking the FO was like use Kjerstad tonight. You got to do it.

Not what I said.

I would bet a ton that the FO provided Hyde with a road map of how to use Kjerstad though.

They certainly didn't call him up and just tell Hyde to figure it out.

I absolutely believe they would.

Notice when he got his first ML hit which happened to be a home run? After the game was over. We were getting no hit at the time. Absolutely no pressure situation. Unlike starting him which IMO was a bad call.

Adjustments will be made by both guys but Kjerstad looks a million times more comfortable at the plate than Cowser did. And it should be noted Kjerstad arrived to the Os far from being on a heater. Had slowed down a good bit the last month or so at AAA

I think Kjerstad has more confidence and a much better swing than Cowser. I think Cowser would benefit from going to a hitting lab this winter. Not very impressed with his approach and mechanics at all.

Kjerstad seemed super excited last night.  He got the hit, that drove Frazier in and he seemed to be thrilled beyond what is normal.  Then he perfectly read Trevor Story falling asleep and not covering third and made his mad dash to move up a base.  Good baseball instinct.

I hope he gets to play a couple of games in the outfield the next 3 days.  Get guys off their feet and let him play out there.  Maybe even a game at first base, although Mounty probably needs some at bats to get sharp.
