Definitely gonna buy the Topps Now card for this, thought it was kinda a silly gimmick for more mundane stuff but for a no-hitter? Yeah I'll pay.

Got it for about $47 on eBay, but looked like one corner was dinged. It’s isn’t graded, may send it in anyway once they catch up. But nice to have in the personal collection if anything, even if it isn’t a gem. (Same card, graded PSA 10 recently sold for somewhere near $500).
It’s not his 1st Bowman, but mainly wanted it because it was numbered 1 of xx.
I’ve made far worse purchases before. Spent $48 on some hobby packs a few days ago and got crap, and a Wander Franco insert worth about $9.
Hoping when I get this thing in the mail, if indeed a corner is dinged, it’s not bad, and the only blemish.
Should be getting my Witt Jr back from PSA in a month. They stopped taking orders completely and said they would be all caught up before July.

Managed to score two bowman blasters on target website. Supposed to delivered in a week. I haven’t bought as much recently so excited to rip those too.

I am gathering up Luis Robert -- I sent a /75 insert from the recent Bowman series to Beckett for grading.
Should have it back in 2024.
This made me LOL. Still haven’t gotten this back

Got these on ebay. The Rutschman I mentioned, meh. 3 of the 4 corners aren't crisp. There is a spot on the right edge that isn't great either. Probably won't send that in for grading. Nice for the personal collection.
As for the Diaz, it isn't a 1st Bowman, but for an auto, Gem 10, and 1/1, I think I got a deal on it. If he really does flame out and never see the majors, I didn't lose too much. But if he wants to go ahead and win multiple MVPs, that'd be great too.

Bought two Bowman blasters yesterday. Fine for an for an O's fan. The Franco is the second one I've got. Also had an Austin Martin (TOR SS) who people seem to be excited about.

Got a phone call today from my local hobby shop that I sent my cards to PSA through. Said I got one back today. It was my Lux RC blue refractor. Which I sent in two weeks after my Witt Jr. 1st Bowman auto and still am waiting on.
Really wanted a 10. Looks flawless to me. Price has come down a bit since last year. This one in a PSA 9 recently sold for $100. PSA 10 went for $200, and $340 recently. Thanks for the the 9 month turnaround time PSA. Lol. I'll hold onto this for a while and hope Lux has a red hot string of games. Maybe GW hit in a WS game.
They say not to expect 10s, but there are a ton of em out there on eBay. I mean, whats the difference? Besides one being worth at least double the other?
Picked up four, Topps series 2 hobby packs while I was there. Scored a Griffey short print. 1st "hit" of the year for me. Wanted to focus on just some single cards this year and not amass hundreds of junk like last year. But then I see other peoples hits on the internet and it's like, eh, I'll buy a few a few packs. This year bought a few Bowman blasters, a dozen or so Topps hobby packs. Nothing to write home about. Was going to be done with it. Then I pull a Griffey SP... Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

It’s crazy. I feel like when they catch up, the same thing is going to happen again. All the people that have been sitting on cards for like six months since they stopped taking orders (unless you are paying $300 for the card to be graded). At least you got yours back. I sent cards to BGS over a year ago. Nothing
Wonder if one of these third companies, outside of PSA and BGS, emerges as just as credible.
