They need to trade for STARTING pitching. No worthwhile free agent will sign there. The only way to acquire SP is via trade and the draft.
Just makes no sense. Confusing is the best word there is.
Unless Mcgee gets moved ASAP.

Some of the MLB Radio guys like the deal for Colorado in terms of them basically "trading" Dickerson for Parra and McGee.
I get that, but what's the sense of having a potential closer with filthy stuff if you're going to lose 100 games.
They did get some good arms in the Tulo deal, but they need to bombard the roster with starting pitching options.

Trevor Story has two triples tonight. Both off of portions of the wall that were raised and would have been home runs a year ago. Would be sitting with 9 HRs in 8 games if they didn't raise the walls.
