Yeah the guys that were at AA at a normal age in 2019 are probably the ones disrupted the most in terms of age-to-level. 23 at AA is perfectly fine, not young but not old. 25 now and still hasn't been above AA would be a major red flag but like you said it's not his fault that he had no opportunity to do anything last year.Baumann isn't exactly young for a prospect, but given the unusual circumstances over the last year you can't really hold that against him.
Would love to see him on the mound sooner than later.

Michael Baumann

this is good news,
i suspect, if they do well, Bradish and Baumann see Baltimore later in the year.
Some starters are going to be promoted for them to account for the needed innings this year

Baumann has an ERA close to 7.
What a dumb article.

Means went 3 IP and allowed 2 ER.
Baumann has an ERA close to 7.
What a dumb article.
Last two outings for Baumann have been good. Was just a matter of him getting healthy, and his stuff looking like himself.
Of course he has to build on these outings.

I still think Baumann is our 3rd best pitching prospect, if he can get healthy and build up the arm strength.

That's a big IF but you could certainly make a case that a healthy Baumann is #3 after Rodriguez and Hall.

It is, but I have seen him, and he has a plus arm. We need some of these other pitchers to step forward, because if they become more of the same, the pressure on Hall, Rodriquez and the organization is going to be high.

Baumann looks so good out there lately.
Bowie is heading to Richmond next week and Norfolk is returning home. Might as well just send Rutschman and Baumann another 90 minutes down I-64 to Harbor Park. Rutschman could help Bradish and Smith as well because Cody Roberts isn't helping anyone in Norfolk from behind the plate.

Gave up two runs in his first inning of work but then settled down over the next four.
5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 4 K in his AAA debut.

I like the 0 in the BB column.
