As Phelan said, he slots in somewhere between 40-60. If thats not org filler or depth then there is nothing to discuss further.

There are guys in that range that can shoot up but usually not 25 year old’s. He’s in the same bucket as Handley and Ardoin except those guys are younger.

I'd claim him and hope he gets to us. Made sense to DFA him when we did but we've got worse guys in the pen right now. When we add better guys that him in two weeks can just move on again.

What a money post. Baumann plays for 5 different teams last year. You know because hes not an above avg RP but is an arm bad teams want to give a shot and will claim. He was in fact traded for org filler as Hunt finishes out the last 4 months with Norfolk and is then DFAd and traded back to Sea for cash considerations. Baumann begins a new chapter in Japan no longer able to stay in MLB as a below avg P. I'll take my flowers dude
Lol. No one is trading anything of substance for Baumann. Maybe cash considerations if some team really wants to jump the line. Not even an 18 lottery ticket. THey may also trade org filler for him. Now, he may be claimed, but Baumann's are the types of guys that you see on the waiver wire with some consistency. There is a reason why RPs move around orgs and get claimed a lot. A team is looking specifically to take a chance on Baumann on the waiver wire but isnt gonna trade anything close to substance for him. dude just bitching to bitch and not understanding player value. Again.
