Wow:   Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 6m All-Pro teams announced today. Teams with most All-Pros: KC, SF and CLEV, each with five. So Browns job might actually be good one.
Nah, it's not. They have a good young TE, WR, CB and two good lineman. No QB though. And a terrible front office.
Put Manziel on that team and think about it. It's pretty solid then.

I'm so torn on Manziel as a pro. Really think he could be either very good, or completely incompatible. I'll let the scouts figure that one out. Seems most are high on him, but I'm just not convinced.

Not a fan of Lombardi? I'm not sure if you can really say it's a terrible FO, it's only been a year since it was remade (with new ownership).

Or any good young QB.

That's interesting, considering they had the 11th ranked pass offense this year as it was.

We've been saying Cleveland is talented and is a good job for years now. No, it's not.

I thought it was a terrible move firing the coach... but a great trade to get a 1st out of Indy. He's alright... but the organization he works for will not get the job done, that's the bottom line.

That's like saying if Angelos sold the O's, the new owner hired new management complete with a different front office and on-field staff, you wouldn't give them a chance because of their past.

I'm sorry but despite their past, I'm willing to give new personnel a chance. And that chance is more than a single year.

Go right ahead. They'll continue to be the doormats of the AFCN.

Maybe they will, it's an easy narrative but even if that's the case, it won't be because of the past.

To quote Loki from Thor 2, "You must be truly desperate to come to me for help."  Cleveland's FO is such a mess, and they saw us during the Cam Cameron years.  What makes them want a piece of that?

Browns to hire Kyle Shanahan as OC (ESPN)

QB would be key for Shanahan in Cleveland (ESPN)

He would've been better off sitting out for a year.  He's going to go from one diva in RGIII to another diva with glaring flaws with his game in Manziel.

Yup. Probably. Never a wise career move to go to the Browns.

I don't know. Nowhere to go but up, from there... so not all that bad. There won't be much expectation from him in that situation.

Just when you think the Browns couldn't get any further into being the Browns...

Joe Banner, Mike Lombardi out in Cleveland, Ray Farmer new GM

...they up and go Full Browns.

You NEVER go Full Browns.

EDIT: Oh, and even though he was assistant GM, Farmer wasn't involved at all in hiring the new coach.
