I was worried when they didn't take advantage of that 5 on 3. Too annoyed to say much about last night's game right now, but I will mention that Holtby poke check was crazy!

Some are pissed that Ovie only got 15 minutes last night. All year long we heard about limiting his minutes for the playoffs, so maybe it's a good time to increase his work load a bit. I thought he looked good last night, so there's no reason not to see him closer to 20 minutes

I've also heard it mentioned that if this is going to be the year, the team has to pull off some sort of series comeback (ala the '04Sox) after having been written off. I don't necessarily buy into that, just win and move on.

People are on the right track, they just don't know WHY they are mad about it. One part is that they spent so much time on the penalty kill in the 3rd that cut into his time, but the other big problem was that Trotz was trying to cherry pick his line changes too perfectly and was running his 3rd and 4th out there too much. He was so worried about keeping the Leafs from scoring that he wasn't playing offense anymore. It's the equivalent of when a football team is up by 2 with 6 min left. They go into a prevent defense instead of trying to keep the ball and keep the other team off the field when they have it.
