I love seeing good people come together after shit like this goes down.
Makes me feel hopeful for the future.

$5 of every ticket sold for the 9/23 game (Friday night) against Arizona goes to relief funds.
Encourage everyone to get out there -- possibly a BSL pregame meet up? Not sure if any bars in the area are getting in on the cause that night but if they are that could be the spot. I already have tix to this game as part of a season plan but I may buy a few more and invite some other friends.

The Phoenix -- which is still trying to rebuild (they are located at the bottom of the hill on Main Street, and have flooded before, but not as bad as this time -- was robbed last night.
Computers, TVs, tools etc were all taken. Definitely a set back for them trying to reopen.
The Phoenix is MY bar, and I'm insanely pissed about this.
So many bad people out there.

That really sucks. Kicking a place while they're down. Ugh.

Bad flooding again.
Owner of Portalli's says it's almost up to their 2nd floor.

That's just crushing. Was supposed to be a 1 in 1,000 year event. Now twice in a couple of years.
Going to be very hard for those businesses to rebuild again.

Just to clarify something. The 2016 event was a 1 in 1000 year flood event. What that means is that there is a .1% chance of a flood of that magnitude in a given year. If one occurs like in 2016 that doesn't mean another 1000 year event can't occur. The odds of two happening so close though are long.
Regardless it's awful that this has happened again.
