If Khris Davis goes 0-1, 0-2, 1-4, or 1-5 today, he will finish with an official batting average of .247. Which would be the fourth consecutive season he has finished with a batting average of .247.

Khris Davis is done for the day and done for the season. He did it! An unprecedented four consecutive seasons with the same batting average: .247. Baseball is the best. (Tiebreakers to decide divisions are kinda cool too.)

It is really amazing that he hits for the same average 4 years in a row

Clearly Khris is a .247 hitter.

In 1996 and 1997, Vinny Castilla hit .304 with 40 home runs and 113 RBI, both years.

Kyler Murray is reportedly entering the NFL draft. If he goes pro, Oakland doesn’t get compensation for losing him.

Have they named a starter for Wednesday yet?

I'd go with Sean Manaea.

It really sucks Montas won’t be available for them.

They have announced that MC Hammer will throw out the first pitch. So there's that.

A's ditching radio and only broadcasting games online via their app.

I heard about this yesterday on 1090.  They have their reasons for their switch but it's hard to believe that they won't lose listener's from this.

Baseball seems unaware that they are leaving behind their older demographic. The same people who have supported them for years.
