Maybe it's just when I happen to catch a game, but the puck movement has been a thing of beauty.

All year. They're great and will get better. Love this team.

The Oshie and Williams signings continue to look better too, but that was expected. This team is very exciting.

I saw Vegas today updated their Stanley Cup numbers and the Caps are now the favorite. I'd have to agree.

Have any other Caps teams ever been favored by Vegas at any time during the regular season?

Wouldn't surprise me if the run and gun team from the 09-10 season wasn't favored at some point.  That team wasn't as balanced as this one though.

Caps-Habs tonight, should be a good one.  Price is out with an injury, so I would like to see them win this one.

Awesome game. Yet another gritty playoff type battle. Holtby was fantastic, particularly in the 2nd quarter. What a fun season so far.

I'm really impressed with Detroit's passing out of the back. Time for us to unleash the fury.

3 goal deficit at home to the Bolts, no biggie. 5 straight from the guys in red including 3 on the pp to notch another win. If you haven't got on the bandwagon yet hop on now because it's only going to get more crowded.

So effing awesome. I'm freaking floating after that one. This team is unreal right now.

Six points up on the Rags with 2 games in hand is simply delicious.

They played Triple H's music. Stone Cold's....When that glass breaks I can't help but go nuts! I think the majority of the crowd felt the same. They played metallica. They did whatever it took to get the place rocking.

That 4th goal by Johannson we saw coming from a mile away. Set up so good. Oshies second was icing on the cake.,

Best part was we had a guy with us who wasn't a huge hockey fan...and now I think he is.

Caps stay hot, score 6 unanswered after trailing the Rags 3-1 in the 2nd to win 7-3 and go up 8 points with 3 games in hand. Lots of contributors, but I'll note that with Ovi's goal, he's now just 8 away from #500. What a joy it's been to follow his career. While the Pens are wondering where Crosby has been, the Caps are enjoying yet another dominant campaign from the Great 8!

Is it too early to start talking about games in hand? I have no idea.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Yes, definitely. It just makes it a little sweeter over the Rags... absolutely can't stand them so I'm getting ahead of myself, no doubt. Probably not too meaningful until about 20-25 games remaining. Caps have only played 34 games. Long way to go.

For most "new" fans it seems to take them seeing one game live in person to see how awesome Hockey is before they become fans.  Friday night was certainly a great one to go to.

Phenomenal stuff. And next to Doc, Beninati is the best. Had me out of my seat on that one. Awesome moment. Caps keep on rolling, despite some metrics that say they're playing over their heads a tad. Which without Orpik, we are. Of course a couple minor injuries here and there too. This team is deep and balanced.
