Saw the headline that Adnan Virk joined WWE as the new voice of Monday Night Raw...  Virk joined one of our pods (Mike and Rob?) when he was still with ESPN years ago.

Yes he did.  He is a work in progress right now.  

I think he also spent time on the MLB network.

A&E is airing some pretty good WWE shows on Sunday night.  They have done Stone Cold, Booker T, Randy Savage so far.  This week is HBK.

Pretty good so far.

 

They are also doing an American Picker type show with WWE personalities, that also includes former Maryland Terp AJ Francis.

 

Francis is in their developmental program.

Not much to add as I haven't been watching at all lately, but did Charlotte have more work done to her face?  Was flipping through the channels and I thought that person kind of looks like Charlotte.

OOF. Braun and Black are going to come back to haunt them I think. Those are prime talents that were failed more by the horrible writing than anything else. I could see them both going and REALLY thriving at like AEW. Lana probably heads there too, cause you know, Miro.

 

If they sign them, and the rumored Daniel Bryan move...you might be about to see the revival of the Monday Night Wars.

Dang, Braun was so over there, they really screwed up by having him lose to Lesnar 2 or 3 times in a row.   His feud he had going with RR was really good

Not a whole lot of sense out of these...unless they are hurting more financially than speculated. But I thought I remember them showing a healthy profit during covid so I don't get it.

 

I mean they just put all this work into Black and this "Dark Father" angle...which they were speculating they were going to have be Taker or Kane in a manager kinda role and have a whole stable and everything. Plus the rumors they were about to resign his wife, Vega. Makes no sense. All so they can give the same retreads title run 14 and 15? I still follow it but I can't bring myself to watch in a while now, the writing has been so poor.

He supposedly sold the network for 1B, so he is not adverse to selling.

I also think Vince has mellowed some.   The AEW has fired a few shots across the bow, which he seems to have ignored, and he even approved Stone Cold, doing a podcast, with Jericho,which seemed to have stunned Jericho.
